Job summary

Ojai Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, treat needs, and coordinate with families and physicians while maintaining accurate medical records.

You will supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in care conferences to support rehab goals. Compliance, safety, and quality improvement are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with state license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Master's/ Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient in medical documentation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise COTAs and trainees in resident care.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
• Prepare timely, compliant documentation per facility and payer requirements.
