Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in the state.
• Continuing education requirements must be met.
• CPR certification, if required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise COTA, aides, and students.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with physicians, families, and staff.
• Complete documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise and safety techniques.
