Job summary

Summit Care Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive OT services to patients, caregivers, and facilities.

You will evaluate patients, develop initial and ongoing treatments, supervise assistants, and participate in case management while adhering to Occupational Therapy guidelines and state regulations. The role requires applying clinical judgment, leadership, and effective communication to coordinate care with facility staff and families.

Qualifications

• Accredited Occupational Therapy program completed.
• Valid OT license to practice in applicable state(s).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and customer relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensures execution of doctor’s orders.
• Provides OT screening and evaluation to determine patient status.
• Develops and implements treatment plans with measurable outcomes.
• Oversees and maintains therapy records.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment.
• Participates in patient, family, and facility meetings; adheres to safety policies.
• Coordinates training programs for facility staff and residents.
