Job summary

Inglewood Healthcare Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate, plan and administer treatment for residents within a collaborative, supportive team.

Requirements include a CA-licensed OT (BS/MS/DS in OT) with one year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome. Benefits include PTO, referral bonuses, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a California Occupational Therapy license.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• 1 year of clinical experience is preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administer and interpret tests for strength, ROM, and respiratory efficiency.
• Deliver direct clinical care per an established plan of care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide adaptive tools and home assessments to support safe discharge.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
