Job summary

Inglewood Healthcare Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our supportive team in California. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues within an established care plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy required or eligible in CA.
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by California.
• New graduates welcome; 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular/musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers and interprets tests for muscle strength, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment according to a care plan while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for patient needs.
• Conducts home assessments to support safe discharge.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
