Job summary

Santa Monica Healthcare Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT). The role offers a salary range of $104,000–$124,800 with a PRN/on‑call schedule and a sign‑on bonus.

PTO and referral bonuses are listed among benefits. The OT will evaluate, plan, and administer treatments, work within an interdisciplinary team, and perform home assessments when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by California.
• New graduates welcomed; 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular/musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers and interprets tests for muscle strength, ROM, coordination, respiration and circulation.
• Provides direct clinical treatment as per care plan.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Performs home assessments to ensure safe discharge when appropriate.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupatial Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
