Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Illinois is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team serving pediatric clients. You will assess clients, design and implement interventions, and support families to reinforce therapy at home.

The role focuses on Sensory Integration, feeding therapy, fine motor skills, cognition, language, self-care and regulation. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in OT and Illinois licensure are required, with eligibility to obtain licensure if in process.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OT program.
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in OT (NBCOT).
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor skills, cognition, language, self-care, regulation, and more.
• Provide guidance to families to reinforce treatment at home.

What You’ll Do

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
