Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary pediatric team. The role focuses on Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health with collaboration across SLPs, PTs, counselors, and ABA professionals.

You will assess clients, implement interventions to improve fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, and regulation, and guide families to reinforce strategies at home.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• OT licensure or license eligible in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, regulation, and more.
• Provide guidance to families to reinforce treatment practices at home.

What You’ll Do

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications
