Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Illinois is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team and support pediatric patients with sensory, feeding, and mental health needs. You will assess clients, design interventions to improve fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, and regulation, while guiding families to reinforce treatment at home.

Illinois licensure and NBCOT certification are required, with a collaborative culture and performance-based mentorship.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment
