Job summary

Sprenger Therapy in Lorain, OH is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our in-house, family‑owned therapy team. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary care team to restore function and quality of life.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program (Bachelors/Masters/Doctorate).
• National Certification Examination for OTR completed.
• Current OT license or license-eligible.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans with families and care team.
• Provide occupational therapy services focused on restoring function and independence.
• Conduct screenings to identify residents needing intervention.
• Supervise and collaborate with COTA staff as applicable.
• Initiate referrals as appropriate per department procedures.
• Document clearly to support quality outcomes.

Occupational Therapist (OTR) – In-House

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for OTR
