Job summary

Sprenger Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OTR) for our in-house care team at Heather Knoll in Tallmadge, OH. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary team to restore function and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for OTR.
• Current OT license or license-eligible.
• Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• New graduates welcome — mentorship provided from day one.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide occupational therapy services focused on restoring function, independence, and quality of life.
• Conduct screenings and identify residents who would benefit from intervention.
• Supervise and collaborate with COTA staff as applicable.
• Initiate referrals when appropriate in accordance with department procedures.
• Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.
