Job summary

Sprenger Therapy is the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a family-owned senior living organization operating 12 SNFs in Ohio and SC. The OTR role is in-house, with clinician-led teams focused on meaningful, patient-centered care.

We offer mentorship, flexible scheduling within an in-house model, and growth opportunities across 12 facilities. You will evaluate residents, develop plans, supervise COTA staff, and document outcomes to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for OTR.
• Current OT license or license-eligible.
• Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• New graduates welcome — mentorship provided from day one.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans with residents, families, and the care team.
• Provide occupational therapy focused on restoring function, independence and quality of life.
• Conduct screenings and identify residents who would benefit from intervention.
• Supervise and collaborate with COTA staff as applicable.
• Initiate referrals when appropriate per department procedures.
• Document clearly and efficiently to support quality outcomes.
