Job summary

Manna Post Acute in Pickens, South Carolina is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate residents, design individualized therapy plans, and deliver interventions to maximize independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide skilled OT services per physician orders and goals.
• Monitor progress and modify plans as needed.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and team members.
• Maintain timely documentation per regulatory and payer requirements.
• Engage in discharge planning and staff education.

In this role, you will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions designed to maximize independence, safety, and quality of life.## Key Responsibilities* Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans* Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established goals* Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate* Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements* Participate in care planning meetings, rehabilitation conferences, and discharge planning activities* Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and home programs* Conduct in-service education and training for facility staff as needed* Ensure compliance with all state practice acts, facility policies, and regulatory requirements* Promote resident safety, independence, and quality of life## Qualifications### Education & Experience* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required* Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy preferred* Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred* Experience with **PointClickCare (PCC)** and **Casamba** preferred* Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills### Licenses & Certifications* Current **Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina** in good standing* Must maintain all required continuing education requirements* Must remain in good standing with the applicable State BoardWe are an equal opportunity employer.
