Job summary

Manna Post Acute, a skilled nursing and rehab facility in Pickens, South Carolina, seeks an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to evaluate and treat patients. You will communicate with families and physicians and maintain documentation in medical records, while contributing to ongoing staff training.

The ideal candidate holds a OT degree (Bachelor's required, Masters/Doctorate preferred) and is licensed in the state, with proficiency in Casamba and Point Click Care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Masters or Doctorate preferred in Occupational Therapy.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Continue education requirements must be met per state practices.
• License must be maintained in good standing with the state board.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients and maintains documentation of services in medical records.
• Communicates with families, physicians and health team members.
• Conducts in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis.

General Purpose

The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records. Conducts in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis.

Qualification

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Occupational Therapy.

Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care.

Certifications

Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state.

Employee must meet continue education requirements per state practices.

Must maintain a license in good standing at all time with the state board.
