Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide patient-centered therapy that enhances independence and quality of life. You will evaluate residents, plan treatment, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.

This full-time role requires a Bachelor’s in OT, an active South Carolina OTR license, and strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active South Carolina OTR license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiar with PCC and Casamba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services per physician orders and care goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes timely.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinaary team.
• Educate residents, families and caregivers on therapy programs.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
• Conduct staff in-services and training.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and payer regulations.
