Simpsonville Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide patient-centered therapy in our skilled nursing setting. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver services per physician orders while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, a South Carolina OTR license in good standing, and experience in rehab.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred).
• Active South Carolina OTR license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services per physician orders and care goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy programs.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
• Conduct staff in-services and training.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and payer regulations.
