Job summary

Valley Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Castro Valley, CA is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This role offers a competitive pay range of $60-$65/hour DOE and the opportunity to provide comprehensive, resident-centered care.

As part of a five-star, boutique facility, you will evaluate residents, develop personalized treatment plans, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and help patients regain independence and return home.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapy interventions focused on functional independence and quality of life
• Help residents improve activities of daily living, mobility, coordination, and safety
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate residents and families on adaptive strategies, safety techniques, and home programs
• Document treatment sessions and resident progress accurately and efficiently
