Job summary

Flagstar Rehab seeks an Occupational Therapist to work in Skilled Nursing Facilities across NYC and surrounding areas. You will evaluate patients, plan and implement treatments, and educate patients and families.

The role offers options for direct employment or independent contracting, with weekly pay and support for setting up a corporation. Qualifications include NYS OT license and EMR competence; candidates will join a multi-disciplinary team focusing on rehab for conditions such as TBI,

Qualifications

• Current NYS OT License and Registration required.
• Experience providing therapy in SNF or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and document progress.

Occupational Therapist (OT) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Occupational Therapists for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

Flagstar Rehab OTs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Pay Rate: $46-$48 Hourly (W-2), $57-$60 Hourly (1099)

Occupational Therapist Job Duties:

• Provide efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for COTAs to follow.
• Supervise COTAs daily.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.

Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.

Occupational Therapist Requirements:
