Compensation includes a $7,500–$10,000 sign-on bonus depending on experience and a $5,000 relocation bonus for travel >50 miles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Illinois.
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient transfers with assistance as needed.
• Designs a plan of care integrating goals, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Adjusts care based on patient response and evidence.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates findings to determine PT diagnoses and plan of care.
• Performs examinations with reliable methods relevant to symptoms and history.
• Screens patients to determine therapy needs and effectiveness.
• Monitors care delivered by support personnel and provides feedback.
• Communicates with the medical team and documents according to standards.
• Meets customer service and productivity standards.
• Serves as a clinical instructor when assigned.
• Participates in team and department activities and meetings.

Education

Bachelor's Degree: Occupational Therapy

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Illinois

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
