NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric home health services across the Terrell, Texas area. You will deliver OT services in clients' homes or daytime facilities, targeting ages 0–21 with regular sessions and physician-directed plans.

Responsibilities include evaluating impairments, interpreting data, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to set goals.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas state license.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Clinical/Practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0-21 years old, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patient impairments and select appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and interventions.
• Plan and modify care to meet OT intervention goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training materials and programs.
• May supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Requirements

• Definepatient's degree and type of physical, fine motor, and sensoryimpairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments.


• Interpretdiagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.


• Incollaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate teamgoals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the teamin specific occupational therapy modalities and interventions.


• Planfor and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.


• Educatestaff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training,printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with atotal occupational therapy program.


• Mayprovide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
