Job summary

FullShift Staffing is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Florida. This 13-week contract (with option to extend) or permanent placement offers days shifts and a competitive hourly rate plus housing and travel stipends for travelers.

Ideal candidates hold an active OT license in the state of employment, have BLS/CPR, and can pass TB testing and a fitness-for-duty evaluation. New grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year, or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions.
• Assess patient function and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Focus on ADLs, mobility, and independence to improve quality of life.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
