Job summary

Sweetwater Care in the United States is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment with the option to extend or go permanent. Work in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, days shifts, with competitive pay and housing and travel stipends for travelers.

New grads welcome. You will provide therapy services, assess function, focus on ADLs and independence, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and document care in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results.
• Current physical state fit for duty (within past year, or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions.
• Assess patient function and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Focus on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility and independence to improve quality of life.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
