Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation Services is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) in Pearland, TX. You will screen, evaluate, and treat patients, develop goals, and supervise OTAs and rehab techs in line with state practice acts.

The role requires an accredited OT degree, current state licensure, strong communication with patients and families, and collaboration with the care team. Pivot supports 401(k) with match, health benefits, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindications.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward maximum independence and function.
• Supervises OT Assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and related activities.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment progress to patients, family, and team members.
