Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation Services in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to screen, evaluate, and treat patients and to supervise OTAs and rehab techs in accordance with state practice acts. You will interpret evaluation findings and communicate treatment plans to patients and families.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited OT degree and current state licensure, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to care.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for diagnoses, history, and precautions.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops a treatment plan to maximize Function.
• Supervises OTAs and rehab techs in direct patient care and related activities.
