North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric OT services in home and daytime clinic settings. You will assess, document, and treat children aged 0–21, delivering therapy 2+ times weekly as ordered by physicians.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, adapt plans to meet goals, and educate families and staff. Texas licensure and pediatric experience are required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's/Masters degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas state license to practice occupational therapy.
• Experience in pediatrics is required.
• Clinical/practicum hours must be completed.
• Home health experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled occupational therapy in patients aged 0–21 at home or daytime facility, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patient's degree and type of impairment using appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan goals and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet OT intervention goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with trainings and materials.
• May supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Define patient's degree and type of physical, fine motor, and sensory impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the team in specific occupational therapy modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total occupational therapy program.
• May provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
