Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and families. Qualifications

• Licensed OT in the state.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping.
• Ability to educate residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine occupational therapy needs, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and aides in resident care.
• Communicate regularly with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
