Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Occupational Therapist in resident care. You will participate in treatment, document accurately, and maintain safe, infection-controlled environments.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, educate residents and families, and assist in training Restorative Aides, contributing to quality care and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state.
• Proficient in inputting data into Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control practices.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings.
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the team and families.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Assist with ordering adaptive equipment and devices as needed.
