This role primarily involves providing therapy services to Mobile Outpatient Clients living onsite or offsite of the Good Samaritan Society Loveland Campus. Therapy sessions are conducted in various environments including clients' apartments and the campus's fitness/wellness center. The goal is to help residents improve functionality in their senior living environments.
Job Summary
The occupational therapist assesses clients and designs treatment plans to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, providing interventions for various impairments, documenting assessments, establishing therapeutic plans, and educating clients to enhance their functional outcomes. The therapist should utilize age-appropriate treatments and incorporate current research into practice, treating individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses.
The role may include supervising assistants, aides, and students, and participating in departmental activities to promote the organization. The therapist will interact with external parties such as providers, family members, and third-party payers, and may be asked to provide ongoing education and training to peers.
