Qualifications

Role Summary:

As an Outpatient Coder, you will assign ICD-9-CM codes to diseases and procedures for statistical and financial purposes.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

General Requirements:

• Credentialed by the American Health Information Management Association or American Academy of Professional Coders within 6 months of hire
• Experience preferred
• ICD-CM Coding and CPT training/experience preferred

Education:

• 2-year Health Information Management college program or equivalent experience
