Job summary

Rockport Healthcare Services is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care and participate in rehab teams. You will evaluate patients, create treatment plans, supervise assistants, and document care in the medical records while coordinating with families and referring physicians.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in OT, current state licensure, and CPR certification. Geriatric rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current state licensure required.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Aids in restoration and enhancement of independent function; evaluates and treats patients.
• Develops treatment plans and obtains physician approvals.
• Supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and/or Aides.
• Documents services in the medical record and billing data.
• Communicates with families and health team members regarding patient progress.
