Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed OT in the state with good standing; CE requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise OTAs and support staff in resident care.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely and compliant documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
• Contribute to quality assurance and facility rehab program development.
