Job summary

BrightStar Care in Richardson, Texas is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide in-home and facility-based therapeutic services. You will evaluate clients, develop personalized treatment plans, and promote independence through rehabilitative care while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

This Full-Time, on-site role requires a valid state OT license and the ability to work as a 1099 contractor.

Qualifications

• Valid state occupational therapist license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Proficient in documentation and using mobile technology for reporting.
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address clients' needs.
• Implement therapy programs to promote maximum independence and quality of life.
• Document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate clients and families on therapeutic practices and home exercises.
