Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our home care team and provide client-centered, in-home therapy services. The OT will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to improve clients’ ability to perform daily activities, promote independence, and enhance overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current MA OT license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Driving license required.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year OT experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients’ functional abilities and therapy needs in home environment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized home care treatment plans.
• Provide training to clients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment for home use.
• Collaborate with RNs, PTs, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document progress and treatment goals in compliance with BrightStar Care and state regulations.
• Recommend adaptive equipment to improve safety and independence at home.
• Deliver compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive care in a home setting.
