Job summary

BrightStar Care of Amarillo is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home therapy for pediatric and adult patients in the Texas Panhandle. This PRN role offers scheduling flexibility and the opportunity to impact patients' functional goals with individualized care.

You will perform home evaluations, develop plans, supervise COTAs, and collaborate with the care team. The position requires active Texas OT license, 1+ year experience, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OT license is required.
• At least 1 year of OT experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Own device with reliable internet to access your schedule and charting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home OT evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals.
• Provide therapy and follow-up visits based on patient needs.
• Supervise assigned COTAs and review their documentation.
• Communicate with the care team regarding patient progress.
