Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Mesa, AZ seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy upon physician referral, in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Licensed OT with NBCOT certification, state licensure, and CPR may be required for hire. New grads welcome; PRN scheduling supported within a life-care focused, interdisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational therapy treatment plans for activities of daily living.
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals for patient progress.
• Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Chart appropriately and timely patient progress and documentation.
• Communicate with patients and families; work on an interdisciplinary team.
