Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Sierra Vista, AZ seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy per physician referral. You will work under Life Care standards and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help patients progress functionally.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required at hire, renewal optional.
• Graduated from an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Active state licensure in good standing; maintain license.

• CPR certification at hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (activities of daily living).
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs and rehab aides.
• Chart appropriately and timely; use therapy software.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
