Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and educate families and staff to promote mobility and independence.

You will document services in medical records, participate in care conferences, and help implement safety and infection control protocols. State OT license and strong computer skills with Net Health and Point Click Care are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• State licensure for Occupational Therapy (and CPR if required).
• Proficiency with health IT systems such as Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine occupational therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and aide staff.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, families regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Participate in resident care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulations and facility policies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy

Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred
