Job summary

Eden Senior Care is seeking a dedicated full-time Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services at our Edenbrook St. Cloud location. You will be part of a supportive team environment focused on enhancing the quality of life for our residents through effective therapy services.

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll evaluate residents, supervise therapy assistants, and apply interventions to promote safety and daily living skills. We offer a competitive salary and a generous sign-on bonus of $6000 for full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as an occupational therapist.
• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy.
• Familiarity with ADL evaluation tools (e.g. Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale).
• Valid license to practice occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality occupational therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate.
• Evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning.
• Supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in ADL and IADL.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use.
• Guide and educate family members and caregivers.

Skills

Edenbrook St. Cloud, a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a full‑time occupational therapist to provide rehabilitation services at one or more of our service locations.

Position: Occupational Therapist - (Full Time or PRN)

Take advantage of our $6000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time hours and $500 sign‑on bonus for PRN hours!

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Provide quality occupational therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.
• Evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation and conduct specialized evaluations as indicated.
• Supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in the implementation of the treatment plan.
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use.
• Guide and educate family members and caregivers.
• Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals.
