We are hiring for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA, OTA) in Home Health provides occupational therapy to patients in their homes to help restore their physical abilities. You will perform duties according to policies, procedures, and the established care plan.

• Follow all state-specific laws governing occupational therapy in home care, adhering strictly to the treatment plan set by the supervising OT.
• Implement the plan of care, instruct, and assist patients with evidence-based treatments within your scope and according to state laws.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and changes to the supervising OT, nurse, or physician. Coordinate care with healthcare team members as needed.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members about therapy within your scope of practice.

Education and Experience

License Requirements

• Current OTA licensure in Florida
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation
