Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan and administer therapy modalities as prescribed by a physician. You will work in an acute care facility with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a CA OT license or eligibility, a completed OT degree, and current BLS certification. Prior acute care experience is preferred, and continued licensure maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelor or Master’s degree and OT certification.
• Current California OT License OR License eligibility required.
• If CA OT License Eligibility Letter with Limited Permit: licensing exam must be passed within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer occupational therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Provide OT services in an acute care setting.
• Maintain licensure and adhere to state regulations.
