Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center seeks an occupational therapist to evaluate and treat patients in an acute care setting. You will plan and direct OT modalities prescribed by physicians, ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role prefers 1 year of OT experience in acute care, and candidates should hold a California OT license or be eligible. BLS certification is required; CLT is a plus. UHS offers comprehensive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as an occupational therapist in an acute care facility preferred.
• Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT curriculum with a Bachelors or Masters in OT.
• Current California Occupational Therapy License OR license eligibility prior to first day of employment.
• If CA OT License Eligibility Letter recipient with a Limited Permit: licensing exam must be passed within 90 days from letter date.
• BLS (AHA) current certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer occupational therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Provide OT services to patients in acute care settings as part of a care team.
