Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our acute care team in Palmdale, CA. You will evaluate, plan and administer OT interventions under a physician's orders, supporting patient recovery and independence.

Qualifications include at least one year of acute care OT experience, California OT license or eligibility, and current BLS certification. Limited Permit holders must pass the licensing exam within 90 days of the letter date.

Qualifications

• One year experience as an OT in an acute care facility preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and OT certification.
• Current California OT License or license eligibility before first day of employment.
• If CA OT License Eligibility Letter recipient with a Limited Permit: licensing exam must be passed within 90 days.
• BLS (AHA) current certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for evaluating, planning, directing and administering OT modalities prescribed by a licensed physician.
