Zusammenfassung

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan and administer therapy modalities in an acute care setting. The role includes supervising assistants and interns while coordinating with physicians, nursing and other clinicians.

The ideal candidate holds an OT degree with certification, CA license or eligibility, and BLS certification, along with solid communication and computer skills. This full-time position is onsite at Palmdale Regional in California.

Qualifikationen

• One (1) year experience as an occupational therapist in acute care facility preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelor or Masters degree with certification in occupational therapy.
• Current California Occupational Therapy License OR License eligibility letter prior to the first day of employment.
• If CA OT License Eligibility Letter recipient with a Limited Permit: licensing exam must be passed within 90 days from letter date.
• BLS (AHA) current certification.
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.

• Supervises occupational therapist assistant and student interns.
• Maintains active communication with health care team regarding patient progress and discharge planning.
