Job summary

Sentara South Boston, VA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility and independence.

Experience

• Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
• Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
• Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training.
• Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes.
• Productive and efficient in daily operations.
• Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures.
• Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $95,825.60 - $140,961.60 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
