Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Schaumburg, IL, is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team and advance pediatric therapy in areas like sensory integration, feeding, and mental health. You’ll work with Speech‑Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Counselors, and ABA professionals to deliver holistic care.

You will assess clients, design interventions to develop fine motor, cognition, language, self‑care, and regulatory skills, and guide families to apply

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self‑care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Education

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy

National Board Certification (NBCOT)

Illinois OT licensure
