Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Rockford, IL is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team in a full-time role. A graduate degree in OT and NBCOT eligibility or licensure is required.

You will assess clients and apply therapeutic interventions to support development across fine motor, cognition, language, and self-care domains. You will collaborate with SLPs, PTs, clinicians, and ABA professionals, providing guidance to families to reinforce treatment goals at home.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successfully pass the NBCOT exam.
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and determine need for adaptive equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
