Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist in the Greater Redmond, WA area for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, in-person role supports students from preschool through high school and collaborates with educators and families to implement IEP-driven OT services.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Occupational Therapy with WA licensure eligibility or current licensure, and bring strong communication and organizational skills; new grads are welcome to apply for

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Washington State OT license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to identify OT needs for educational performance.
• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services in school settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, families, and related providers.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations.
• Monitor progress and maintain timely documentation.
• Participate in IEP and MDT planning; support development of functional skills for classroom success.

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Occupational Therapists (OTs) for current and upcoming full-time school-based opportunities in the Greater Redmond, Washington area for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Highlights

• Location: Greater Redmond, WA area
• Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
• Setting: In-person, school-based
• School Year: 2026-2027
• Grade Levels: Preschool through High School (varies by assignment)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to identify occupational therapy needs related to educational performance
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in school settings
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, families, and related service providers
• Recommend and implement adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations
• Monitor student progress and maintain timely, accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, self-care, and functional skills that promote success in the classroom

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain one)
