McCall Rehabilitation and Care Center in McCall, ID is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time, in‑patient role with opportunity to support a mobile outpatient program in surrounding rural areas.

You will practice to the top of your license with opportunities for clinical development, career growth, and work‑life balance in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
• Assess patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on outcomes, including referrals when warranted.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor and other health team members about patient progress, barriers and treatment plans.
• Provide comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
