Austill’s Educational Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide school-based therapy 2 days per week for the 2026-27 school year in the Kutztown, PA area.

The role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in classroom activities through direct therapy and IEP implementation, with collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible scheduling aligned with school hours.
• Continuing education opportunities and clinical mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to PreK–12 students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success.
• Complete required documentation, including progress notes and IEP updates/annual reviews.
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Support student development in sensory integration and ADLs.

Snapshot: We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work 2 days per week with school age children in the Kutztown, PA area for the 2026-27 school year. This opportunity includes direct treatment sessions and COTA supervision.

Job Summary

An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in areas such as:
• Sensory integration
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)
