Job summary

Austill's Educational Therapy Services seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12 at sites near Aston and Broomall, PA. You will collaborate with teachers and families to maximize classroom participation and the student’s potential.

Requirements include a degree from an accredited OT program and a Pennsylvania OT license, plus excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy educational program.
• Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License.
• Passion for working with children and dedication to helping them maximize potential.
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12.
• Consult with teachers, therapists, staff and families to facilitate classroom participation and maximize potential.
• Fulfill documentation, including data collection, progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions with updated goals.
• Attend IEP meetings as recommended.
• Travel may be required throughout the school day.

Snapshot: Seeking Occupational Therapists (OTR) for 3 days/week (M-F) to work with school-age students in Aston and either part- or full-time with preschool students at locations near Aston, Broomall, PA. Excellent collaboration, supplies, and support!

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
